I know, I know… COVID. Ugh. As much as we are all over COVID, it is clearly not done with us. Throughout the ongoing pandemic, my primary concern has been and will continue to be the health, safety, and well-being of my clients and myself. I am immunocompromised and extremely susceptible to infection, so please keep that in mind. My health policies are described in detail below.
If you or anyone in your household is ill or exhibiting symptoms of illness within seven (7) days of your scheduled photo session, please notify me as soon as possible. As a thank you for your consideration, I will waive all cancellation fees related to rescheduling for illness. No fuss, no stress. Just contact me and we’ll figure it out. This goes both ways: if I feel sick or am exposed to someone who has been sick, I will contact you via phone or email to reschedule our session.
To state it plainly: If you are ill at the time of our session and fail to provide appropriate notification at least one hour beforehand, your session will be canceled and your deposit will not be refunded. Rescheduling your session will be at my discretion and is not guaranteed.
Steps I take to protect your health:
I am up to date with my COVID-19 vaccinations, including the most recent bivalent vaccine, as well as all other inoculations (Influenza, Tdap, MMR, etc.). My husband, the only other member of my household, is up to date as well.
My husband and I always wear an N95 mask or equivalent in indoor public settings and strive to limit our public exposure as much as possible.
I will wear an N95 mask or equivalent during the entirety of our session. Please bring a mask with you to our session. This is more of a precaution than anything. You will not need to wear a mask while being photographed.
I will bring hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and disposable masks to our session to be used as needed. Any props that are utilized will be cleaned and disinfected both prior to and after use.
I am only booking outdoor sessions during periods of high or substantial COVID-19 community transmission. You can check current rates by visiting the CDC’s website at https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view?list_select_state=all_states&list_select_county=all_counties&data-type=Risk&null=Risk.
Consultations will be done online or outdoors.
More precautions will be taken for indoor sessions. This will be discussed prior to booking.
I am more than happy to take a COVID-19 rapid test prior to our session upon request.
A final note: It is important to me that I can create a safe space for those who have been neglected, overlooked, or made to feel unsafe throughout this pandemic. If that is you, book your session with me with confidence. I see you and am more than willing to accommodate.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I am ready to learn about you! I believe that the best images are born through collaboration and I am excited to connect with you and hear your ideas. Am I the right photographer for you? Do you have a question for me?
